Peach Recipe Roundup

Here’s a confession for you. Summer is quite likely my least favorite season (*gasp*). I know, how could that possibly be?! I blame it on having grown up in a northern state where any week above 90F was an oddity. I’ve since moved to a warmer state and have never really adjusted to high temps (thank goodness for air conditioning). I make it up for this gap in summer love with my passion for the fall.

That said, there is one thing about summer that I adore – fruit season. Strawberries in May. Cherries in June. Peaches in July. Not to mention blueberries and blackberries and gooseberries and raspberries. Need I say more? Yes, fruit season is something I love to be sure.

This summer, peaches and I are truly having a moment. They feel so quintessentially summer, don’t they? Maybe it’s their shape. Or their color (the bright yellow and red hues are mesmerizing). Or maybe it’s their characteristic fuzz. I’m not really sure, but fresh peaches can be found in my kitchen most weeks when they are in season. These days, my peaches have been turning into peach filling for turnovers, but I’ve had my eye on several recipes I want to try. Of course, this calls for a recipe roundup so here goes:

PIES, TARTS + CRISPS

CAKES + CUPCAKES

BREADS + BREAKFAST

COLD PEACH DESSERTS

SIMPLE PEACH RECIPES
