Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2020
0 Comments
A gift guide for moms who love to bake:
- Magnolia Table, Volume 2: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering by Joanna Gaines – Joanna’s first book was beautiful, and I hear her second is equally so.
- Farmhouse Pottery Pantry Bowls – I came across these bowls after following talented food photographer Kayley from the Kitchen McCabe. Stoneware bowls are my very favorite, and these are beautiful with their two-tone colors and pouring lip.
- Danish Dough Whisk – If mom doesn’t have one, she should. This whisk is used nearly daily in our home and must-have for any baker.
- Sour Flour Sourdough Kit – Brittany from Sour Flour is a recent discovery of mine, and her sourdough kit is perfect for anyone wanting to kickstart their bread-baking journey.
- Nordicware Crown Bundt Pan – A favorite design of mine from Nordicware and a perfect compliment to the traditional bundt pan.
- King Arthur Flour 100 Parchment Paper Half Sheets – So perhaps this isn’t an exciting gift, but it’s certainly a useful one as any baker knows how nice half sheets of parchment are.
- Baratza Encore Conical Burr Coffee Grinder – We have this coffee grinder and use it daily. While it leans toward the pricy side, it’s really the best I’ve come across outside of commercial grinders and worth it if mom is a daily coffee drinker.
- New World Sourdough by Bryan Ford – Artisan Bryan is such a go-to sourdough resource for me. I’m excited for the many recipes in his new book releasing soon!
- Nielsen-Massey Vanilla Bean Paste – This is a quality ingredient that absolutely makes a difference in how your baked goods taste.
- Lodge 6-Quart Enameled Dutch Oven – A dutch oven is my trusted sourdough and bread baking companion. We use it frequently for savory meals too.
- Sugar Maple French Style Rolling Pin – A classic rolling pin style that should be a staple in mom’s kitchen.
